Mr INVO MAKYAO was the Head of School of Uroki High school from the year 2000 to Jan 2011. One of his objective was / still is to open up Uroki school to the outside world. His committement to the provision of quality education to the best of his talents, to the pupils that pass through his hands was fully achieved when him and other staff managed to promote the School to a fully Registered High School and the Attendance in the Worldwide Conference "Waterwise" in Nykoping - Sweden in September 2010, where Uroki was the Only school representing the continent of Africa and been the first Tanzanian School to attend Global School conferences. Other continents were represented as follows: South America (Brazil), North America (Usa), Europe (Germany and Sweden), and Asia (China) The Uroki's delegation had opportunity to appear in Sweden's TVs and Newspapers in different interviews and presentations. In 2009, Uroki school was visited by Netherland's TV presenters who wrote and broadcasted Uroki in their media. Mr Invo Makyao is the creator and designer of the school emblem and the school motto. The school motto is "Let There be Light"
